Day 1 Arrival in Xiamen
Welcome to Xiamen! Our guide and driver will pick you up at Xiamen Airport and transfer you to the hotel. If there is time, we will start this 5 days Xiamen tour itinerary with a visit to the pedestrian street - Zhongshan Road and a traditional fish market this afternoon.
Day 2 Xiamen - Nanjing - Yongding
Tianluokeng Earthen Building Cluster
After breakfast, you will take a 2-2.5 hour drive to Nanjing County to visit the Tianluokeng Earthen Building Cluster. The earthen building is a distinctive multi-storey residence made especially by Hakka people, usually built in round or square shape with dozens of rooms on each floor. At Tianluokeng you can see four round buildings surrounding a square tower. Then our guide will accompany you to Taxiashui Village where you can immerse yourself in customs of the local Hakka people. Afterwards, we will continue our private Xiamen tour to Yongding County and spend overnight at a local hotel.

Day 3 Yongding - Xiamen
Zhencheng Building, Yongding
Yongding is nicknamed as the museum of Hakka earthen buildings for housing various towers in different periods, and towers at Hongkeng Cultural Village of Yongding are a concentration of essence of earthen buildings in China. This includes Zhencheng Building - also nicknamed as Prince of Earthen Building because of its elegant decorations and design, Kuiju Building - a palace-like square earthen tower, Rusheng Building - a small tower that only contains six households, and Fuyu Building - which looks like a traditional official's mansion.

After visiting these old buildings, you will be escorted back to the hotel in Xiamen by a 3 hour drive.

Day 4 Xiamen
Gulangyu Island
Today, you will have a morning tour around the picturesque Gulangyu Island with the company of our guide. It is a must for tourists who take a Xiamen trip. We will firstly visit the Shuzhuang Garden where you can enjoy both tranquil scenes of private Chinese garden and wide seascape. You will also stop by the Piano Museum inside with over 70 pianos made in different periods on display. Then you will be led to the Hi Heaven Villa. In addition to traditional buildings, you can also enjoy the unique Nanguan Music and puppet shows.

After that, we will backtrack to downtown Xiamen and visit the Huihe Stone Cultural Park. There you will appreciate a large collection of stone sculptures and reliefs. The other highlight is to watch girls from Hui'an County doing shadow carvings. Getting out of the park, you will then be accompanied back to the hotel.

Day 5 Departure from Xiamen
This is the last day of your 5-day Xiamen tour package. Our guide and driver will escort you to the airport according to your flight schedule. If time permits, we will still pay a visit to Jimei Study Village, a college town founded by Mr. Tan Kah Kee in 1913. Before leaving there could still be time to admire school buildings, as well as Tan Kah Kee Memorial Hall and the Turtle Park inside.
